Everyone backstage in WCW is extremely impressed on Monday as to how fast Sid became face. This was a goal of Vince Russo’s, but no one knew how fast Sid could turn. Sid’s role at Halloween Havoc in his match with Goldberg was the kick off. It was expected at the latest, Sid would turn completely face the Nitro after Mayhem. All skeptics of Vince Russo have lost any doubt they had in his ability to book a show. Some see this as good news for Sid, as he will probably officially obtain a belt within weeks after Mayhem.
