There was a reporter from Rolling Stone backstage working on an upcoming wrestling story.
Ring announcer Marc Beduarczy tells the fans that ECW will return to Buffalo on April 8th 1999.
The opening dark match saw Danny Doring and Roadkill take on the team of CW Anderson and Wild Bill Wiles. Doring and Roadkill got a good pop. A chant about Roadkill having his way with sheep broke out briefly early.
Doring did some nice spots early one while Roadkill came in and hit some power spots. After Doring was crotched, he still managed to come back and hit a sick looking Diamond Cutter variation off of the top rope. He then nailed Anderson with a great leg drop from the top, and Roadkill followed that up for the big splash for the pin in four minutes.

As the PPV opens Cyrus gets on the mic and says the smart marks can rejoice as he is back on PPV. Taz's music hits. Taz comes down to the ring and confronts Joey Styles about not answering his phone calls. Taz asks Styles if he wants to fight him. Crowd starts chanting "F*ck off Joey, F*ck off." Styles leaves the ring. Enter Gertner. Taz asks Gertner, "Do you think it's funny fat ass?" Taz chokes out Gertner briefly and then addresses Rob van Dam and tells him in a little while he is going to find out why they call him the human suplex machine.
Next segment saw Simon Diamond and Big Dick in the ring on the mic cutting a funny promo about Big Dick. Get it? Jazz comes out and gets on the mic, says a few words, then slaps Simon. Big Dick picks up Jazz and lays her out with a slam. Simon says that Big Dick is the Giant Killer. Enter Little Spike Dudley.
Spike Dudley vs Simon Diamond
Spike comes in and immediately hits acid drops on both men. Spike off the ring apron with a rolling shoulder block on Simon. Spike follows up by coming off the top with a chair to the outside on Simon. Simon is busted open. Back in ring 2 snap suplexes and a front face slam by Simon on Spike for a 2 count. Spike headbutts Simon right in the crotch and hits the acid drop for the 3 count.
Winner:Spike Dudley by pinfall
Little Guido and Big Sal come in and destroy Spike. Super Nova comes in flying off the top on Sal then with a flying forearm on Guido. Nova off the top to the outside with a plancha on Guido. Nova with a toprope leg drop on Nova for a 2 count. Guido with a hangmen's neckbreaker for a 2 count. Nova with Guido on his shoulders falls backwards off the top rope. Big Sal comes in only to get hit with a tornado ddt from Nova. Nova turns around and walks right into the tomakazie. Guido gets the pin. After the match Sal and Guido attack Nova untill Chris Chetti comes out and hits a beautiful sidekick on Sal. Danny Doring and Roadkill come out and destroy Chetti.
Tajiri vs Super Crazy vs Jerry Lynn
Match starts off quick paced. Tajiri quickly puts Lynn in the tarantula. Crazy tries a sunset flip and gets caught in the tarantula. Lynn off the top with a plancha to the outside on Crazy. tajiri follows with a moonsault. The fight moves into the crowd. Lynn dives over the guardrail into the crowd with a double clothesline on Tajiri and Crazy. Crazy climbs up on a balcony section and comes off with a moonsault on Tajiri and Lynn. Back in ring Crazy with a drop toe hold on Tajiri then puts an inverted surfboard on him. Lynn with a tilt a whirl backbreaker on Crazy. Crazy powerbombs Lynn. Lynn with the cradle piledriver on Crazy. Tajiri breaks up the pinfall attempt. Tajiri eliminates Crazy with a brainbuster. Tajiri with a beautiful handspring into a back elbow like only he can do. Tajiri puts Lynn in the tree of woe then baseball slide dropkicks him in the face. Lynn with a german suplex on Tajiri for a 2 count. Tajiri misses a second turnbuckle moonsault. Lynn with a tornado ddt on Tajiri for a 2 count. Tajiri gets a 2 count out of a german suplex. Lynn with the cradle piledriver on Tajiri for the 3 count. Corino comes in and attacks Lynn. Lynn ends up getting a cradle piledriver on Corino.

The Baldies vs Balls Mahoney and Axl Rotten
Balls and Axl are taking on all four Baldies. Balls starts off with some punches on two baldies untill him and Axl start getting a beatdown. New Jack's music plays over the loudspeakers. New Jack comes to the ring with a cart full of weapons of course and takes out all the Baldies. New Jack gets out the vacum cleaner and hits one of the Baldies right in the crotch with it. new Jack pulls out the staple gun and gets one of the Baldies right between the legs with it. Inside the ring two of the Baldies double suplex Balls. Skull comes off the top with an elbow on Balls. Meanwhile, towards the back of the arena, Axl and New Jack are setting up a tall ladder. new Jack places the ladder against the basketball rim withthe ECW logo sign in front of it. New Jack climbs atleast 6 feet above the rim/sign and dives off onto one of the Baldies through a table. Back at ringside New Jack hits one of the Baldies with a Nintendo. Inside the ring New Jack is attacking Skull with the staple gun. New Jack turns his back and Angel lays him out with a guitar and gets the pin.
Winners: The Baldies
Bill Alfonso and Sabu are in the back cutting a promo. Alfonso seems a little off. Sad to a point. Alfonso later says that Sabu is dedicating his match tonight to his best friends that he lost. Apparently Sabu's best friend has died.
Chris Candido vs Sabu
Match starts off with Sabu pulling the legs out from under Candido. Both men exchange right hands to the head. Outside the ring Candido throws Sabu into the guardrail. Candido catches Sabu in the air trying to do a sidekick and slams him to the mat for a 2 count. Sabu backdrops Candido all the way to the floor. Sabu dives out of the ring on Candido. Candido with a British Bulldog type suplex on Sabu. Candido follows up with the New Jersey jam for a 2 count. Candido misses a diving headbutt off the top. Sabu takes advantage of it with a ddt followed by a triple jump leg drop. Sabu rolls to the outside to get the table in place. Candido knocks Sabu off the ring apron and follows him out with a plancha. Candido places Sabu on the table. Candido goes to the top and gets crotched by Sabu. Sabu with a beautiful huricanrana off the top on Candido for a 2 count. Alfonso places a table in the ring. Candido sets it up and places Sabu on top. Candido goes to the top and misses Sabu putting himself through the table. Sabu baseball slide dropkicks Candido into the first row. Sabu flies out of the ring into the crowd on Candido. Back in ring Sabu clocks Candido in the face with a chair. Sabu locks on the camel clutch. Candido and Sabu fighting over the table. Sabu clotheslines Candido onto the table. Sabu comes off the top with a leg drop through the table for a 2 count. Sabu misses a triple jump moonsault. Candido powerbombs Sabu for a 2 count. Candido piledrives Sabu for a 2 count. Both men go to the top. Candido comes away with a superplex for a 2 count. Sabu comes back with the arabian press for a 2 count. Sabu goes up top but Tammy shakes the ropes and Sabu gets crotched. Candido hits a diving headbutt for a 2 count. Candido is getting frustrated. Candido and Tammy place a table in the ring. Sabu with a dropkick to Candido's ankle. Sabu places Candido on the table. Sabu goes up top and Tammy tries to interfere. Alfonso places her on the table. Tammy barely gets away but Candido still gets the top rope leg drop through the table. Sabu goes up top with a chair and hits a legdrop on Candido with the chair. Sabu places Candido in the camel clutch and Candido submits.

Masato Tanaka vs Mike Awesome
ECW World Heavyweight Title Match
Match starts off with a big splash in the corner by Awesome. Tanaka off the top with a high cross body to the outside on Awesome. Outside the ring Tanaka hits Awesome with a running chair. Back in ring Awesome catches Tanaka in a bear hug then does a over head belly to belly suplex on him. Awesome springboards off the top rope into the crowd with a clothesline on Tanaka. back in the ring Awesome comes off the top with a chair shot to Tanaka. Tanaka asks for another one and gets it. Tanaka gets a hold of the chair and hits Awesome with it then follows up with the roaring elbow. Tanaka takes the chair up top with him and comes off with a legdrop with the chair on Awesome's face. tanaka tries a tornado ddt from the top but Awesome counters it with a sit down Awesome bomb on the chair. Awesome picks up Tanaka by his ankles and slams his head to the mat. Jeff Jones sets up a table at ringside. Awesome and Tanaka are on the ring apron, Awesome picks up Tanaka and does a sit down Awesome bomb through the table. Crowd erupts into "Holy Sh*t!" Jeff Jones slides another table into the ring. Awesome sets it up in the middle of the ring and places Tanaka on it. Tanaka gets off the table and follows Awesome up to the top. Tanaka hits a superplex through the table on Awesome. Crowd chants "ECW, ECW, ECW!" Tanaka with a version of the blockbuster on Awesome. Awesome gets up and damn near clotheslines him out of his shoes. Awesome goes up top and hits the Awesome splash only for a 2 count. Both men up top again, Awesome with a sit down Awesome bomb for the 3 count. Great match!

Taz vs Rob Van Dam
Television Title Match
Match starts off with a sideheadlock takeover by Taz. Taz mocks RVD and flips the crowd off. Crowd chants "F*ck You Taz!" Outside the ring Taz slams RVD's face into the guardrail. RVD crotches Taz on the guardrail. RVD off the ring apron putting both him and Taz into the crowd. Back in ring Taz clips the knee of RVD. Taz picks up RVD by his ankles and slams him to the mat for a 2 count. Taz with a tiger taz plex on RVD. Taz rolls to the outside and gets a table from under the ring and brings it back in the ring with him. Taz sets up the table on the second turnbuckle. RVD with a spinning dropkick floors Taz. RVD with a rolling senton down across the chest of Taz for a 2 count. RVD with a corkscrew legdrop across the back of the neck of Taz. Taz clotheslines RVD out of mid air. Taz taz plexes RVD through the table. Taz picks up the chair to go after Alfonso. Taz turns around right into a vandaminator from RVD. RVD hits a split legged moonsault on Taz for a 2 count. RVD goes to the top and hits a five star frog splash for the win. RVD and Taz high five each other after the match.

Impact Players and Rhino vs Tommy Dreamer, Raven, and Sandman
The Impact Players and Rhino are accompanied by Dawn Marie and Jason. Dreamer, Raven, and Sandman are accompanied by Francine. Sandman is the last one to make his way to the ring coming through the crowd drinking beer and smoking a cigarette. Sandman pours a full beer down a fan's throat. Match starts off with Sandman and Rhino going at it. Sandman kicks Rhino between the legs and grabs him by the hair throwing him hard down to the mat. Storm and Dreamer going at it now. Dreamer hits a side russian leg sweep on Storm prompting Storm to tag in Justin. Justin canes Sandman. Double team by Storm and Justin on Sandman. Rhino powerbombs Sandman off the top turnbuckle for a 2 count. Triple team on Sandman. Storm misses a frogsplash off the top. Raven tagged in and literally cleans house. Raven goes for the evenflow but Rhino makes the save with a spear. Dreamer clotheslines Rhino to the outside. Storm follows out with a plancha on Dreamer. Rhino spears Storm by accident after Sandman moves out of the way. Sandman canes Rhinofour times. Dawn Marie jumps on Sandman's back. Francine comes in and a catfight breaks out. Sandman grabs Francine by the hair acting like he is going to hit her but kisses her instead. Raven nails Sandman with the cane. Justin with thats incredible on Sandman for the 3 count.
