Steve Austin comes to ringside to kick off tonight's broadcast. He
grabs the stick and addresses the fact that Vince McMahon hit him
in the face with the title belt on Smackdown. He shows footage of
the incident on the Titan Tron, and then calls Vince out. McMahon
responds in timely fashion, and Austin demands an explanation.
Vince admits he made a mistake, but the microphone keeps cutting
out.Austin gets him a new stick,and destroys the old one. Tensions
start to flare between the two,as Vince pleads his case.He assures
him it was an accident, but Austin doesn't buy it. Angrily, Vince
announces himself special guest ref for the triple threat match at
Survivor Series.This prompts The Rock to make his way out to ring-
side. He expresses his distaste to what he'd just heard. Vince
brings up the sledgehammer incident at "No Mercy" proving that
accidents do happen. He goes on to state that Triple H being the
champion was an accident. This prompts Triple H to come down and
give his two cents. He says there have been no accidents, and he
has already proven himself. He then promises victory for himself
after Survivor Series Finally,he says if Vince crosses him tonight,
it'll be the biggest mistake he'll make. Austin gets in the last
word with his catch phrase, as everyone clears the ring.
Backstage, the New Age Outlaws are seen arguing with the tag team
champs, Mankind and Al Snow. They prepare to battle in the first
match tonight, for the titles.

Billy Gunn immedately trounces Al Snow at the bell, and is quickly
double-teamed. Mankind now puts the boots to Road Dogg, and knocks
Gunn off the apron. All four men in the ring now, as Vince McMahon
is seen watching backstage, and barking orders.Road Dogg dominates
Al Snow with wicked chops and kicks. Double team by the Outlaws on
Snow turns into a double DDT.Mankind has his opponents subdued,and
uses Socko on the Road Dogg. Val Venis comes out as Snow nails the
Snow Plow. Gunn nails Al Snow with a chair, to allow Road Dogg to
get the pin, and the tag belts.
Michael Cole tries to congratulate the Outlaws on their title win,
but DX takes over the segment. X-Pac rips on The Rock, as Triple H
moons everybody.
Kevin Kelly gets a word backstage with the now-former tag champions.
Al blames his screw up on his action figure woes,and talks about his
mother and Wal-Mart.
<> Godfather d. Val Venis (countout)
Godfather offers Val all of his ho's before the bout, and he
graciously accepts. However,he was playing possum as he laid
in a cheap shot to get the match started. Val nails his side
Russian leg sweep, as well as some well placed knee drops.
Mankind comes after Val on the top rope, and shoves him off.
They brawl on the outside,as the match is called on a count-
out.
Michael Hayes announces the wedding of Test and Stephanie, as being
three weeks away. Mother Linda and brother Shane give their proud
blessing.
Back in the ring, the bell tolls ten times for the Big Show's father,
Paul Wight, Sr. In the middle of the salute, the Boss Man comes to
ringside, and reads a sympathy card that he wrote himself. The poem
only turns out to be insulting, as Boss Man gloats all the way back-
stage.
<> *Eight-man tag* Edge/Christian/The Headbangers d. British Bulldog/
Mean Street Posse (pin)
All eight men hit the ring and go to town on each other. Edge is being
trounced by Rodney, but misses an elbow. Pete Gas now tangles with
the Headbangers, as all heck breaks loose. Pete Gas is isolated from
his team, as Edge scores the pinfall. A huge schmozz erupts after the
fact.
Backstage, on a fuzzy camera, Vince McMahon gives Triple H a warning
never to moon the cameras again.
Chris Jericho is seen on the Penn State football field, in a pre-taped
segment.He uses football and Penn State metaphors to hype his IC title
shot with Chyna next week.
<> The Rock d. X-Pac (pin)
X-Pac jumps on The Rock right at the bell, but Rocky quickly fires
back. Quick near fall by The Rock, and X-Pac sends him outside.
Vince McMahon is seen watching on a monitor backstage. The Rock
looks to have hurt his knee on the outside, but manages to lay in
some defense on the DX-er. X-Pac with a near fall inside the ring,
followed by some wicked chops in the corner. X-Pac with a sleeper
hold now, but The Rock powers out at the last minute. X-Pac tries
another one, but Rock counters with a suplex. Big Samoan Drop for
X-Pac, and they carry the battle back outside.The ref is accident-
ally nailed in the ribs, allowing X-Pac to nail a chair to The
Rock's skull. The Rock kicks out after a slow count. Finally, The
Rock reverses the X-Factor into the Rock Bottom to win.The Rock is
then trounced by DX, which brings Vince McMahon to ringside. He
sends off the Outlaws and X-Pac, as he confronts Triple H. He
announces a mandatory title defense tonight against Test, with
Shane as guest ref. He appoints himself guest timekeeper, and
threatens to strip him of the title if DX interferes.Triple H gets
his dander up, as The Rock nails a Rock Bottom from behind,
followed by a People's Elbow.
Degeneration X is seen backstage, totally irate with Vince McMahon
Chyna and Miss Kitty now make their way to ringside. Chyna grabs the
stick and starts in on Chris Jericho. Out comes Stevie Richards in a
cheap Elvis costume, and an equally bad accent. He breaks into song,
in tribute to the IC champ, but is interrupted by Chris Jericho.
Jericho and Chyna are at each other's throats, and the whole debacle
is broken up by officials.
The Acolytes are seen watching Raw in a sports bar, as some woman
comes up and hits on them. Meanwhile,Al Snow is seen on the phone
talking with someone about his action figure.Mankind comes to him
bearing gifts to cheer him up. They include, the new WWF album,
and another Head.
<> Kane d. Big Boss Man (DQ)
The Boss Man tries some early offense on the big man, but Kane
dominates a good portion of the match. A see saw battle soon
brews on the outside, as Tori watches on backstage.Back in the
ring, Kane falls victim to Boss Man's offense, but Kane fires
back with a huge clothesline. Kane soars the ropes and nails
him with a kneedrop.Enter Prince Albert,who double teams Kane,
along with Boss Man. The match is thrown out in favor of the
Big Red Machine.
Some local guy at the sports bar tells the Acolytes to leave his
girlfriend alone.Faarooq and Bradshaw look like they're ready to
fight.
<> Hardcore/Crash Holly d. Too Cool (pin)
Scott Taylor puts the boots to Crash Holly, but finds himself in a
near fall predicament. Impressive double team action by Too Cool,
until Taylor slams his shoulder to the ringpost. Hardcore Holly
takes over, but is double teamed as well. Crash brings the scale
into the ring, but is knocked to the outside.Hardcore gets the pin
on Taylor soon after.
The locals at the sports bar make fun of Too Cool, and The Acolytes.
Faarooq and Bradshaw are very livid at this point. After the break,
The Acolytes totally destroy the local gents, in a huge barroom
brawl.
<> *World Title* Triple H d. Test (countout)
The fight is on as Shane McMahon officiates, and Vince plays
timekeeper. Shane gets in Hunter's face as Test gets in many
close calls. Vince keeps Triple H in the ring, as Test tries
his hardest to grab the gold tonight. Austin watches on from
backstage, as Test has his way on the outside. Triple H with
a cheap shot now, gaining the advantage. Vince yells at him
to get back in the ring. Hunter now focuses on Test's
seemingly injured ribs, as The Rock is seen checking out the
action. Triple H now with an abdominal stretch, which Test
reverses easily. Hunter continues his attack on the sore
ribs, and tosses Test outside. Hunter trounces him on the
announce table, and gets into McMahon's face as well. Test
finally gets a second wind back in the ring, and nails a
powerbomb. Triple H nails the pedigree after a miscaluclated
move. Instead of making the pinfall, Shane checks the time
limit with his dad. Vince gets nailed by Hunter, and he
retalites with the title belt, knocking Helmsley down. Test
makes a cover, but Triple H kicks out at the last possible
second.Pumphandle slam by Test now, and he climbs the ropes.
All of a sudden,the Road Dogg shows up on the Titan Tron, as
DX is seen kidnapping Stephanie McMahon. Vince and Shane run
to the back, as Triple H is declared the winner. A frantic
father and brother are panicked, as they race in search of
DX, as the broadcast fades.
